JAKARTA - On Tuesday, August 22, PT Jinsheng Mining increased its stake in nickel mining company PT Central Omega Resources Tbk (DKFT) to 60%. Previously, this controlling investor held approximately 59.76% of the shares, but the purchase of 40 million shares this time brought his ownership percentage to 60.47%.

PT Arthakencana Rayatama then decided to purchase 3.85 million shares of fuel distributor PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA), as well as PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk, which purchased 3.5 million shares of hospital company PT Sarana Meditama Metropolitan Tbk (SAME). PT Bogamulia Nagadi also acquired 784,200 shares in PT Tempo Scan Pacific Tbk (TSPC), a pharmaceutical company.

Meanwhile, PT Samuel Sekuritas Indonesia completed the largest divestment this time by selling 422.56 million shares of palm oil producer PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS). The GOTO Peopleverse Fund was spotted selling 38.34 million shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), while PT Esa Gemilang sold 8.03 million shares of PT Black Diamond Resources Tbk (COAL), a coal mining company.

Individual investors took similar steps to divest. Charlianto sold 8.95 million shares of PT Darmi Bersaudara Tbk (KAYU), a timber company, followed by Winston Karim, who sold 800,000 shares of PT Ricky Putra Globalindo Tbk (RICY), an apparel company. Last but not least, Faadhil Irshad Nasution sold 137,400 shares of PT Kedaung Indah Can Tbk (KICI), a manufacturer of kitchen tools. (KD)
