MKTR to acquire palm refinery in Central Kalimantan
JAKARTA. PT Menthobi Karyatama Raya Tbk (MKTR) has acquired shares of PT Khatulistiwa Sinergi Omnidaya (KSO), a palm refinery company in Lamandau, Kalimantan Tengah.
Ilahmd Fithriansyah, Corporate Secretary of MKTR, revealed that the acquisition took place on August 28, 2023. After the acquisition, the company owns 60% of KSO, whereas the other 40% belongs to PT Menthobi Makmur Lestari (MML), one of its subsidiaries.
"The transaction value, which include the 100% acquisition of KSO's issued shares, is IDR 18.67 billion," Fithriansyah added in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
For the record, the divesting parties are PT Sijar Dahan Zaitun (SDZ) dan PT Embun Rindang Optima (ERO).
According to IDNFinancials data, MKTR recorded cash and bank of IDR 585.31 billion as of March 31, 2023. Its total assets were recorded at IDR 1.26 trillion, while the total equity reached IDR 545.87 billion. (KR/ZH)
