JAKARTA. PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITMG), a coal mining group under Banpu Group of Thailand, plans an interim dividend distribution worth USD 199.27 million.

Monika Ida Krisnamurti, Corporate Secretary of ITMG, said that this plan is in accordance with the decision made by the Board of Directors of ITMG. "It had been approved by the Board of Commissioners on September 1, 2023," added Krsinamurti in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) earlier today (1/9).

For each unit of ITMG's share, the holder will be granted an interim dividend of IDR 2,660. The interim dividend will be given to shareholders whose names have been listed by the recording date on September 13, 2023. Then, the payment will be made on September 22, 2023. 

As of June 2023, ITMG booked net profit of USD 305.71 million. It also recorded retained earnings of USD 1.33 billion and total equity of USD 1.79 billion. 

According to IDNFinancials data, as of now, Banpu Group controls 65.14% of ITMG's shares. The public claims another 34.74% of shares, leaving small portions divided among directors and commissioners of the company. (KR/ZH)
