JAKARTA - Foreign sales volume was only 1.61 billion shares at the beginning of September. The volume of foreign purchases itself reached 2.05 billion, so September's net foreign volume began with a surplus of 442,844,200 shares on Friday, September 1. PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), which recorded a foreign purchase volume of 172.57 million shares, also had the highest net volume this time, with 144.46 million shares. After 51.21 million of its shares were disposed of, the state telecommunications company, PT Telkomunikasi Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM), became the stock with the lowest net volume at -38.35 million.

PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) trailed BUMI with a net volume of 143 million shares, with foreigners purchasing a total of 358.61 million shares. PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS), a subsidiary of BUMI, followed with a net volume of 105.63 million shares and a foreign purchase volume of nearly 140 million shares. Shares of PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC), an oil and gas exploration and production company, also sold well. Foreigners purchased more than 150 million MEDC shares, bringing the net volume to 94.16 million shares. PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) then completed the top buy list with a total purchase of 67.82 million shares, resulting in a net volume of 40.05 million shares for BBRI.

Foreign investors, on the other hand, released as many as 26.87 million shares of PT. Bakrie & Brothers Tbk (BNBR) without purchasing shares. As a result, this manufacturing and infrastructure company's net volume is negative at the same number. PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO) also reported a -26 million share net volume after seeing 41.56 million shares sold. Foreign investors were then seen selling approximately 16 million shares each of media holding company PT Global Mediacom Tbk (BMTR) and sea transportation company PT Temas Tbk (TMAS). The two issuers recorded a net volume of -15.98 million BMTR and -13.82 million TMAS.(KD)
