IDX Market Cap hit IDR 10.33 quadrillion
JAKARTA – Market capitalisation of Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) hit over IDR 10.33 quadrillion as of yesterday (5/9), recorded since the beginning of this year (year-to-date/ytd). It shows an increase from IDR 10.24 trillion seen on August 31, 2023.
Based on the IDX data compiled today (6/9), market cap had risen approximately IDR 600 trillion within the past week. Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) was reported reaching 6,991.708 on yesterday’s closing bell, 5,042 lower than the figures spotted earlier this week of 6,996.750.
The volume of traded shares clocked up to 18.49 million, shifting from 18.48 million shares on the previous day. The average transaction value was IDR 10.35 trillion, slipping off slightly from IDR 10.36 trillion. Meanwhile, the frequency of the average transaction is 1.17 million.
Five highest market-cap companies are PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) of IDR 1.26 quadrillion, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) of IDR 844 trillion, PT Bayan Resources Tbk (BYAN) of IDR 627 trillion, PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) of IDR 564 trillion, and PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM) of IDR 370 trillion.
Top five companies with the highest number of traded shares consist of PT Smart Fren Tbk (FREN) of 2.52 billion shares, PT Black Diamond Resources Tbk (COAL) of 1.52 billion, PT Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) of 1.40 billion, PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) of 1.20 billion, and PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) of 854 million shares.
