JAKARTA – Until June 2023, PT M Cash Integrasi Tbk (MCAS) recorded dozens of subsidiaries under its belt, three of which have been established as publicly listed companies. Sat in an exclusive interview with IDNFinancials last Wednesday (6/9), MCAS reveals its grand vision that connects all those subordinate entities.

Rachel Stephanie M. Siagian, Director and Corporate Secretary of MCAS, explains that the decision to establish and invest in those companies has always been made in careful deliberation.

“We try to avoid cash-burning strategy. To us, it is not a very sustainable business strategy,” Siagian stated firmly. Therefore, MCAS opts to cater to strong, naturally emerging use cases and develop its products based on said potential.

MCAS then integrates said products, which are managed by various subsidiaries, into its merchant partners, including traditional channels. “We have approximately 200 thousand merchants across Indonesia,” Siagian revealed.

For example, MCAS has introduced Damcorp WhatsApp Business API, Droper Joint Delivery Drop-Point, even an online-to-offline supply procurement application for traditional merchants.

“We wish for these merchants to be a one-stop shopping,” added Siagian.

In conclusion, MCAS highlights that the underlying objective of the formation of those subsidiaries is its vision to generate added value as much as possible for its merchant partners, which are said to be the heart of all of MCAS’s business initiatives. (ZH)
