JCI strengthened, LAJU rode the wave to top gainers
JAKARTA – The stock of PT Jasa Berdikari Logistics Tbk (LAJU) was closed 33.33% higher, leading the company to arrive as the top gainer in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) this Monday (11/9). It replaced PT Telefast Indonesia Tbk (TFAS) that reigned the list last Friday (8/9).
Based on IDX data compiled today (12/9), the stock price increased amidst the positive sentiment towards Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) earlier this week. LAJU’s price rose IDR 19 from IDR 57 to IDR 76 per share, which was the highest it went through yesterday’s session. The lowest was recorded at IDR 58 per share.
The positive trend of LAJU’s stock price urged investors to collect its shares, resulting in foreign buy of 11.12 million, way above foreign sell of 217,300 shares. The number of traded shares was reported to reach 378.19 billion in 15,081 transactions worth a total of IDR 26.70 billion.
On the other hand, TFAS, down to the runner-up position, shifted 25% upwards or IDR 400 per share. It was closed at IDR 2,000, IDR 400 higher than IDR 1,600 per share. Similarly, the lowest it went was IDR 1,600 per share.
The volume of TFAS’s shares being traded was reported at 593,500 units within 611 transactions worth a total of IDR 1.15 billion. The foreign buy was seen at 25,100 shares, while foreign sell was stuck at 19,800 shares. (LK/ZH)
