JAKARTA. The development of infrastructure of Batang Industrial Park (BIP), an industrial park owned by PT Intiland Development Tbk (DILD), is projected to be concluded by 2024.

Achmad Andi Yusuf, Project Manager of BIP, said that this industrial area is estimated to fully operate two years after the establishment of supporting infrastructures. “Because, in 2024, tenants will first start the construction process. It will need another year or two, hence the full operation will only begin in two years,” he explained.

The construction of BIP’s supporting infrastructures has reached 90%. It includes clean water supply, waste water treatment (WWTP), etc. “The only main project left is cut and fill as the contour of the area is made of hills,” Yusuf added.

For the record, BIP is developed over 500-hectare land, and as of now, there have been 6 tenants listed under BIP, including Nestle Indonesia. DILD designs BIP with an intention to be filled with middle-class manufacturing industry, starting from textile to footwear segment.

According to IDNFinancials data, DILD recorded cash and cash equivalent of IDR 983.71 billion as of June 2023. Its total assets were recorded at IDR 15.23 trillion, while total equity clocked up to IDR 6.36 trillion. (KR/ZH)
