Aiming for revenue growth, LUCY to open outlet in Medan
JAKARTA - PT Lima Dua Lima Tiga Tbk (LUCY), the managing company of Lucy Group, has introduced another outlet in Medan, North Sumatra. This restaurant is the third that opens outside Jakarta, and is expected to boost revenue.
Andarurachman Putra, President Director of LUCY, mentioned that Lucy in the Sky Medan is intended to be the latest comfy hangout spot, completed with premium food and beverages. “The establishment of another branch in Medan is a proof of our commitment and love to friends outside Java,” he said in the press release, quoted Wednesday (13/9).
With this new outlet opening in Medan, LUCY now has six outlets across Java, consisting of three restaurants in Jakarta, Surabaya, and Bandung.
Until the first half of 202, LUCY’s revenue reportedly went up to IDR 41.99 billion from the same period in 2022 of IDR 21.53 billion. The revenue mostly came from beverages segment of IDR 32.54 billion, food segment of IDR 9.05 billion, and others of IDR 484.64 million.
However, the profit was recorded at IDR 1.7 billion, down from the same period in 2022 of IDR 2.89 billion. This decline presumably occurs due to increased costs of sales, operational expenses, and financial expenses. (LK/ZH)
