JAKARTA – The stock of PT Telefast Indonesia Tbk (TFAS) seized back its top gainers title during yesterday’s (12/9) session in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) after slipping up to the runner-up position last Monday (11/9). For the record, last Friday (8/9), TFAS also reigned as top gainers.

Based on IDX data compiled today (13/9), this stock rose 25% higher, shifting IDR 500 per share, thus leading to the closing price of IDR 2,500 from the previous of IDR 2,000 per share. Meanwhile, the lowest it went was recorded at IDR 2,100 per share.

The volume of traded shares clocked up to 1.02 million, recorded within 763 transactions worth IDR 2.54 billion. This positive sentiment encouraged investors to actively purchase TFAS’s shares, as reflected in foreign buy of 44,500 and foreign sell of 14,900 shares.

Meanwhile, the runner-up spot was secured by  PT Bintang Mitra Semestaraya Tbk (BMSR) with 24.87% surge. It increased IDR 94 from IDR 378 per share to IDR 472. The lowest was recorded at IDR 382 per share.

Contrasting with TFAS, this positive trend did not drive investors to mass-collect BMSR’s shares. Foreign buy was seen at 172,700, whereas the foreign sell clocked up to 206,800. The volume of traded shares was recorded at 7.90 million within 4,022 transactions worth IDR 3.53 billion. (LK/ZH)
