JAKARTA. PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama (BUMA), one of many subsidiaries of PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID), has obtained a sharia syndicated loan facility worth USD 60 million or worth approximately IDR 920 billion.

The facility features contribution of PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia (BMI) with a total participation worth USD 50 million. For this financing, BMI also acts as the Mandated Lead Arranger (MLA), facilitating agent, and guarantee agent.

Nanang Rizal Achyar, Director of BUMA, mentioned that said financing is a manifestation of trust of various parties towards the company’s performance. “This new financing, with a competitive pricing, is now a proof of BUMA’s credibility as a renowned coal mining contractor company in Indonesia,” he said in the official disclosure.

The financing, Achyar said, will be used to support corporate actions and operational activities of BUMA. “We hope that this partnership may continue to a bigger scale of collaboration,” he added.

For the record, BUMA is a business unit of DOID that is engaged in the mining contractor business, and has reportedly initiated several means of diversification. This diversification will then support operational performance of the company and boost DOID’s revenue by up to 23%. (KR/ZH)
