JAKARTA - On Thursday, September 14, net foreign volume remained deep in negative territory. This was primarily due to the net volume of PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN), which closed at around -1.03 billion shares after foreign investors released more than 1.13 billion shares of this telecommunications issuer. This was exacerbated by the fact that the highest net volume this time was only about 81.38 million shares from the e-commerce company PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA), out of a total of 184.30 million shares purchased. Furthermore, the total number of shares sold by foreigners was 3.55 billion, and the total number of shares purchased was 2.58 billion, for a net foreign volume of -970,637,100 shares.

Following FREN, private bank PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) is ranked second on the top sell list, with nearly 100 million shares sold by foreigners and a net volume of -24.76 million. Behind it, two issuers, property developer PT Surya Permata Andalan Tbk (NATO) and paint producer PT Avia Avian Tbk (AVIA), both recorded net volumes in the range of -20 million shares, as roughly 20.51 million NATO shares and 22.14 million AVIA shares were sold by foreign investors. The sale of PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS) shares was then recorded at 35.74 million shares, with a net volume of minus 17.52 million.

Meanwhile, foreigners purchased 414.78 million shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia (GOTO), bringing the net volume of this digital company to just behind BUKA at 73.58 million. Besides, the net volume of PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (GIAA) was 34.75 million shares, with a total purchase of 53.41 million shares. Foreign investors also purchased 188.06 million shares of PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS), even though the company's net volume was only around 29.90 million shares. The top buy list was then closed by the copper and gold mining company PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk (AMMN), whose purchase volume was 32.77 million shares with a net volume of 25.74 million.
