JAKARTA - On Wednesday, September 13, Indonesian businessman and investor Garibaldi Thohir, also known as Boy Thohir, released a huge amount of share ownership in the electric vehicle battery producer PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk (MBMA). Boy Thohir sold 1.5 billion shares and had 6.16% share ownership left.

Furthermore, palm oil issuers on the Indonesian stock market were also enlivened by PT Mitra Agro Dharma Unggul, which bought 296.77 million shares of the palm oil company PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS). On the other hand, individual investor Teguh Patriawan actually sold 870.16 million shares of the NSSS issuer and now only has 10.89% of the shares left. Two foreign investors also continued to withdraw shares, namely GOTO Peopleverse Fund, which was seen selling 9.89 million shares of the issuer PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia (GOTO), and BBH Luxembourg S/A Fidelity Funds, which was seen selling 1.61 million shares of the ceramic company PT Arwana Citramulia Tbk (ARNA). At the same time, PT Suprakreasi Eradinamika increased its holding in ARNA by acquiring 610,000 shares.

Aside from that, the electrical and steam power supply firm PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk (DSSA) was spotted carrying out a buyback of 22.80 million shares and has 11.39% share ownership. Finally, PT Paraga Arta Mida purchased 1.8 million shares of real estate development company PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (BSDE). (KD)
