JAKARTA. PT Bank HSBC Indonesia (HSBC) has signed an amendment of credit facility agreement channelled to PT Profesional Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Protelindo) and several of its subsidiaries.

In the amendment, HSBC mentioned about granting new facility in the form of Trade Working Capital - Buyer Loan. The total value of commitment given by HSBC for Protelindo and its subsidiaries is IDR 850 billion, with a sub-limit of the facility of USD 55 million.

Subsidiaries of Protelindo in question include PT Iforte Solusi Infotek (Iforte), PT Solusi Tunas Pratama Tbk (SUPR), and PT BIT Teknologi Nusantara (BIT). For the record, Protelindo is a subsidiary directly owned by PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR).

“The purpose of the loan is for capital goods’ procurement that is related to core business activities of the debtors,” explained Monalisa Irawan, Corporate Secretary of TOWR.

Irawan also mentioned that the amendment of this facility agreement will not impose any material impact towards operational and financial performance of the company. “The amended agreement mentioned above is not a material transaction as stated in OJK regulation,” she concluded. (KR/ZH)
