JAKARTA - On Tuesday, September 19, the total foreign buying and selling transactions stayed around the same number of 1.59 billion shares, with net foreign at only around -1.6 million shares. The entire volume of share purchases was 1.59 billion shares, while the total volume of share sales was 1.59 billion shares.

With 68.24 million shares sold and a net volume of -51.96 million shares, telecoms operator PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN) remained in first place on the top-selling list. Meanwhile, foreign investors were spotted purchasing 88.65 million shares of mining holding firm PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) with a net foreign volume of 35.61 million in the first top purchase position.

The palm oil firm PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS)'s shares were sold as many as 71.37 million shares, and only 51.86 million shares were acquired, resulting in a net volume of -19.50 million shares. In addition, 36.34 million shares of the banking business PT Bank Neo Commerce Tbk (BBYB) were sold, for a net foreign volume of -18.05 million shares. The top-selling list was closed by the shares sales of two big Indonesian property businesses, namely PT Summarecon Agung Tbk (SMRA) shares for 19.64 million and PT Pakuwon Jati Tbk (PWON) shares for 16.99 million. As a result, SMRA has a net volume of -16.36 million shares, while PWON has a net volume of -15.50 million.

Meanwhile, on the top buy list, shares of the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia (GOTO) were targeted once again and purchased up to 165.64 million shares, with a net foreign volume of 25.64 million shares. Then, foreign investors were seen buying shares in two oil and gas companies for around 30 million shares each, namely PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) and PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC). BIPI's net volume was 30.79 million shares, while MEDC's was 21.19 million. Finally, with a net foreign volume of 16.85 million shares, 41.16 million shares of PT Nusantara Sejahtera Raya Tbk (CNMA), which engages in the movie theatre industry, were acquired. (KD)
