Starting the week, JCI slipped
JAKARTA – After gaining strides during the opening bell on today's (25/9) trading session, Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) slid down to 7,009.33 at 10.50 AM WIB.
Monitoring Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) trend, JCI was seen declining starting from 9.10 AM WIB, arriving at 7,012.83. It then fluctuated a bit to the green zone before plunging back into the red zone nearing 11 AM WIB.
Several indexes that showed slippage included LQ45 that was corrected 0.19% to 966.365, IDX30 that shrank 0.19% TO 499.658, and IDX80 that shifted 0.10% lower to 134.225.
Although it was seen slowing down, JCI is mostly stable throughout the last week. On September 18, for example, the index was still at 6,936.07, before finally hitting over 7,000 earlier this week.
Some of the issuers seen hanging around the green zone this morning are PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI), PT Mahaka Media Tbk (ABBA), PT ABM Investama Tbk (ABMM), PT Adaro Energi Indonesia Tbk (ADRO), PT Samator Indo Gas Tbk (AGII), PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA), and PT Sumber Alfaria Sejahtera Tbk (AMRT).
On the contrary, companies that were also seen slowing down include PT Acset Indonusa Tbk (ACST), PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk (ADHI), PT Adira Dinamika Multifinance Tbk (ADMF), AGRO, and PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA). (LK/ZH)
