Bangun Karya Perkasa to secure BMPP Nusantara-1 project worth IDR 27.81 billion
JAKARTA. PT Bangun Karya Perkasa Jaya Tbk (KRYA), has obtained an infrastructure construction contract for Barge Mounted Power Plant (BMPP) Nusantara-1 in Waai Ambon, Maluku.
Said infrastructure is included as one of National Strategic Project. This project, commissioned by PT PLN Indonesia Power, is worth IDR 28.81 billion and will be completed in 104 days.
Dharmo Budiono, President Director of KRYA, said that his company is confident that this project will be completed in time, at the end of December 2023, despite its challenging location. “Considering how this BMPP infrastructure is one of vital projects and is required by the people in Ambon, Maluku,” he added.
With this additional project from PLN Indonesia Power, the total contracts handled by KRYA in 2023 now reach IDR 262.73 billion in value. It is equal to 105.82% of the company’s Work and Budget Plan set in 2023, which amounts to IDR 248.28 billion.
For the record, the construction of BMPP Nusantara-1 in Waai Ambon is initiated by PLN to reinforce reliability of power supply in Eastern Indonesia. (KR/ZH)
