JAKARTA - PT Nusa Palapa Gemilang Tbk (NPGF) is targeting to attain fertiliser orders worth IDR 30 billion at the end of the third quarter (Q3) of 2023. This manufacturer will reach its maximum production capacity after the completion of its plant in Penceng, Gresik, East Java, in July 2023.

Yudi Koswinarko, Corporate Secretary of Nusa Palapa Gemilang, mentioned that the order for fertiliser is in the process of production and delivery. “The company has been operating commercially and receiving several corporate users,” he revealed in the information disclosure quoted Tuesday (26/9).

According to Koswinarko, the completion of this fertiliser production plant will boost revenue growth. Furthermore, his company will expand the market to plantation and non-plantation segment, particularly for palm and other horticultures.

In July 2023, NPGF was finishing off the construction of plant fertiliser in Penceng, Gresik, with an investment worth IDR 60 billion. The construction began in September 2022, and it covers the construction of factory building, two sets of more efficient dry granulation machine, and other supporting infrastructures.

Until September 2023, NPGF scored IDR 22.78 billion of profit, skyrocketing from IDR 2.38 billion seen in the same period in 2022. The revenue clocked up to IDR 8.76 billion, down from IDR 98.19 billion, while the gross loss worsened from IDR 17.32 billion to IDR 18.77 billion.

However, the company managed to raise its other sources of income, bringing the post up from IDR 78.38 billion to IDR 11.30 billion. With this achievement, NPGF managed to secure profit before tax of IDR 22.78 billion, a sharp upturn from loss before tax of IDR 2.38 billion. (LK/ZH)
