Two individual investors sold Merdeka Battery (MBMA) shares for a total of 1.1 billion shares
JAKARTA - Two individual investors were seen selling PT Merdeka Battery Minerals Tbk (MBMA) shares totaling 1.1 billion shares on Thursday, September 21. Winato Kartono sold 930.47 million shares of this electric vehicle battery manufacturer, followed by Garibaldi Thohir, who sold 292.32 million shares.
In addition to Merdeka Battery, two investors also withdrew their shares in PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS). PT Samuel Sekuritas Indonesia currently owns 18.23% of NSSS shares after selling 195.68 million shares. Moreover, PT Nusantara Makmur Lestari sold 26 million shares of this palm oil company.
Two international investors, GOTO Peopleverse Fund (GPF) and Citibank Singapore S/A Government of Singapore, joined the sales list. GPF was seen selling 60.44 million shares of the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), followed by Citibank Singapore, which sold 5.14 million shares of the communications infrastructure provider PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk (MTEL). Additionally, Sukarto Bujung, an individual investor, was added to the list of share sales after selling 7.80 million shares of PT Metrodata Electronics Tbk (MTDL), an information technology company.
Meanwhile, three other individual investors were observed increasing their share collection, starting with Andri Wijono Sutiono, who purchased 117.80 million shares of PT Cashlez Worldwide Indonesia Tbk (CASH), which boosted his ownership percentage to 28.08%. In addition, Philmon Samuel Tanuri purchased 65 million shares of PT Trimegah Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk (TRIM), and then Budijanto Tirtawisata, who purchased 1 million shares of his own firm, PT Panorama Sentrawata Tbk (PANR), closed the list.
