JAKARTA - On Monday, September 25, the net foreign volume of shares of the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia (GOTO) plummeted. Foreign investors sold 883.95 million GOTO shares for a net volume of -712.95 million shares. This made GOTO the main contributor to the net foreign closing of -799.47 million shares. Meanwhile, foreign purchases totaled 1.79 billion shares, while foreign sales totaled 2.59 billion shares.

PT MNC Vision Networks Tbk (IPTV) shares were the second most popular after GOTO. This media company's shares were sold for 100.37 million, while only 9,300 shares were purchased, resulting in a net volume of -100.36 million shares. Aside from that, 80.64 million shares of the e-commerce company PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) were sold, with a net volume of -50.50 million shares. Foreign investors also sold shares in two distinct state-owned companies: PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) and PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM). The total number of BBRI shares sold was 99.22 million, with a net volume of -49.17 million, followed by sales of 69.56 million TLKM shares with a net foreign volume of -27.53 million shares.

On the other hand, shares of the palm oil business PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS) were the most purchased on the top buy list, with a total of 108.35 million shares and a net volume of 105.15 million shares. The holding company's mining shares, PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), were also purchased for 60.98 million shares with a net volume of 45.77 million shares and this was followed by the purchase of shares in its subsidiary in the mineral sector, namely PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS), amounting to 28.20 million shares and a net volume of 27.63 million shares. Aside from that, foreign investors were seen purchasing 86.76 million shares of the telecom company PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN), with a net volume of 39.62 million shares. Finally, 35.51 million shares of the banking company PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI) were purchased, and the net volume was 18.47 million shares. (KD)
