DPR agreed upon extra PMN of IDR 36.84 trillion, HK to receive IDR 28.84 trillion
JAKARTA. PT Hutama Karya (Persero) will be granted extra domestic investment (lit. Penyertaan Modal Negara/PMN) worth IDR 28.84 trillion, following the approval for the government to distribute PMN in cash worth IDR 36.84 trillion granted by Commission XI of House of Representatives (lit. Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat/DPR) of Indonesia for the fiscal year 2023.
Minister of Finance, Sri Mulyani Indrawati, said that this extra investment will reinforce state-owned enterprises (SOE) in their conduct of national development. "We, alongside Ministry of SOE, will continue to monitor the implementation of said PMN," she added during the Joint Meeting with Commission XI of DPR RI, Monday (2/10).
Out of the total IDR 36.84 trillion, this new round of PMN will be divided for six SOEs. PT Hutama Karya (Persero) will receive IDR 28.84 trillion, Perum LPPNPI/Airnav will be granted IDR 659.19 billion, and PT Bahana Pembinaan Usaha Indonesia (Persero) IDR 3 trillion. Then, PT Sarana Multigriya Finansial will get IDR 1.53 trillion, PT Len Industri (Persero) another IDR 1.75 trillion, and PT Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia (Persero) of IDR 1.01 trillion.
However, said funds are not going to be channelled directly in its total sum. PMN must be accompanied with Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and performance contract from the management according to existing practices. "Therefore, the withdrawal of PMN must be in line with KPI, and there must be a performance contract monitored by the management, then reported periodically. It will not be realised all at once," Indrawati explained.
The government will also put in non-cash PMN in the form of debt conversion to PT Rajawali Nusantara Indonesia (Persero) of IDR 2.56 trillion, as well as in the form of state assets to Perum LPPNPI/Airnav Indonesia of IDR 892 billion, PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) of IDR 388.56 billion, PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero) of IDR 211.98 billion, PT Sejahtera Eka Graha of IDR 1.22 trillion, PT Pertamina (Persero) of IDR 49.94 billion, and PT Len Industri (Persero) of IDR 456.25 billion.
