Shifting 34.55%, PRIM soared to top gainers
JAKARTA – The stock of PT Royal Prima Tbk (PRIM) was seen arriving at the top of the gainers’ list with 34.55% surge in its price until yesterday’s (2/10) closing bell. The increase of stock price coincided with a hike in Jakarta Composite Index (JCI).
Based on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) data quoted today (3/10), PRIM’s stock was closed at its peak at IDR 74 per share, IDR 19 higher than the previous closing price of IDR 56 per share, which was also its lowest transaction price recorded yesterday.
Approximately 559.62 million shares were being traded in 12,109 transactions worth IDR 39.11 billion. Foreign buy and sell were recorded at 7.10 million and 7.05 million shares, respectively.
Then, PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk (META) also reported a 25% increase to the runner-up position. It was closed at its peak of IDR 280 per share, IDR 56 higher than the previous closing price of IDR 225 per share. It was once traded at its lowest price level of IDR 222 per share.
The volume of META’s shares being traded yesterday (2/10) clocked up to 865.31 million, recorded within 26,728 transactions worth IDR 223.58 billion. The positive sentiment in the stock market urged investors to mass-divest their shares, resulting in foreign sell of 55.04 million, whereas foreign buy was only 18.09 million shares. (LK/ZH)
