JAKARTA. Heavy equipment, mining, construction, and energy segment have contributed the most to the revenue of PT Astra International Tbk (ASII), generating IDR 68.67 trillion or 42.29% of total revenue of IDR 162.39 trillion.

Gita Tiffany Boer, Corporate Secretary of ASII, mentioned that as of June 2023, ASII managed to secure revenue of IDR 162.39 trillion, 13.01% year-on-year (yoy) higher than IDR 143.69 trillion seen in the same period last year.

Besides heavy equipment, mining, construction, and energy segment, which is the top revenue contributor, automotive segment generated the second most with revenue of IDR 65.72 trillion, followed by financial services that contributed IDR 14.25 trillion, agribusiness IDR 9.39 trillion, infrastructure and logistics of IDR 4.4 trillion, information technology of IDR 1.31 trillion, and property of IDR 419 billion.

After said revenue is cut by elimination costs of IDR 1.78 trillion, ASII managed to score net profit attributable to the parent entity of IDR 17.44 trillion. However, it dropped 3.98% yoy from IDR 18.17 trillion in H1 2022. (AM/ZH)
