JAKARTA. PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE), a sub-holding of upstream businesses of Pertamina Group, has reportedly held Community Involvement & Development (CID) Upstream Award 2023 on September 25-27, 2023.

This event is the first competition in the management and implementation of corporate environmental-social responsibility (CSR) program or involvement and development of communities surrounding upstream sub-holding of Pertamina. “We believe that promoting this competitive spirit is a part of appreciation and acknowledgment towards top management in their conduct of CID, innovation, and improvement of programs,” Wiko Migantoro, President Director of PHE, mentioned in the official statement.

In this CID Upstream Award 2023, the competition is divided into 5 categories. The awards include Best CID Program in healthcare, economy, education, and environment sectors for CID employees, Best Community Development Officer for CID partners, Best Local Hero for community empowering figures, Best CID Leadership for the management, and Best of the Best.

All categories are selected and evaluated by independent, external judges. “It is to strengthen the validity of the assessment,” added Migantoro.

After this event, PHE will continue to improve the beneficial quality of the impact of CID on communities. In addition to this, Migantoro also mentioned that PHE will keep developing a prudent and excellent operational management, both in domestic and international scene, to realise Environmentally Friendly, Socially Responsible dan Good Governance (ESG) principles.
