JAKARTA – Shareholders to assign Johanes Kuntjoro Adisardjono as Independent Commissioner of PT Bank Raya Indonesia Tbk (AGRO), replacing Rina Sa’adah. The official inauguration of said position took place during Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders yesterday (3/10).

In the information disclosure quoted Thursday (5/10), the Board of Commissioners of AGRO post-EGMS consists of Muhamad Sidik Heruwibowo, President Commissioner; Achmad F.C Barir, Commissioner; as well as Eko B Supriyanto, Retno Wajyuni Wijayanti, and Johanes Kunjtoro AS, Independent Commissioners.

Kuntjoro is known to have earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from University of Indonesia (UI) in 1998 and Master’s Degree from Bogor Agricultural Institute in 1999.

Prior to becoming Independent Commissioner of AGRO, Kuntjoro was the Expert Team Leader of BRI Document Management System (BRIMEN).

Meanwhile, Rina Sa’adah is a politician from Partai Kebangkitan Bangsa (PKB) fraction. Previously, Sa’adah was the Expert Staff of Ministry of Youth and Sports and Expert Advisor to Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries. (LK/ZH)
