Slipped to runner-up, JAWA tailing PPRI
JAKARTA - The stock of PT Paperocks Indonesia Tbk (PPRI) increased 35% during the yesterday’s (5/10) session in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This move made PT Jaya Agra Wattie Tbk (JAWA), the previous (4/10) top gainer, dropped to runner-up spot at the list.
Based on IDX data quoted Friday (6/10), it was closed at its peak of IDR 108 per share, shifting IDR 28 from IDR 80 per share, which was also the lowest transaction price recorded yesterday.
The number of traded shares clocked up to 170.31 million shares, recorded within 12,877 transactions worth IDR 16.85 billion. This rise urges foreign investors to divest more, resulting in foreign sell of 377,600 shares, whereas foreign buy was 225,500 shares.
On the other hand, JAWA recorded 34.86% increase, lower than 34.57% seen on October 4, which positioned it at the runner-up spot. It was closed at its peak of IDR 147 per share, shifting IDR 38 from IDR 109 per share. The lowest it went was IDR 120 per share.
The number of JAWA’s shares that were being traded yesterday was 53.14 million shares, recorded within 5,755 transactions worth IDR 7.46 billion. This trend prompted investors to mass-collect the shares, thus resulting in foreign buy of 2.77 million and foreign sell of 2.66 million. (LK/ZH)
