JAKARTA. PT Graha Layar Prima Tbk (BLTZ), the manager of the CGV cinema network in Indonesia, has opened a new cinema in Depok Town Centre, West Java.

Park Seong Ho, Director of BLTZ, said the cinema opened on Thursday (5/10). With the opening of the new cinema, it is hoped that production house activities will return to enthusiasm. Apart from that, the new cinema is expected to help the economy of the surrounding community.

"People in the surrounding area can watch cinemas safely and comfortably by implementing health protocols," said Park Seong in his official statement today.

According to idnfinancials.com data, BLTZ previously opened a new cinema in April 2023. At that time, this subsidiary of the CJ CGV Group opened a new cinema at Ecoplaza Maja Raya.

For the record, BLTZ has prepared a capital expenditure of IDR 500 billion this year. Most of the capital expenditure is allocated to support the company's expansion plans, including the opening of a number of new cinemas. (KR/LM)
