JAKARTA - Shares of the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) were sold by foreign investors for up to 1.08 billion shares on Friday, October 6. This share sale resulted in a net volume of -809.09 million shares. Foreign buying volume itself was 1.78 billion shares, with foreign selling volume reaching 2.56 billion shares, so the net foreign volume was sealed at -771.26 million shares.

Foreign investors then sold 105.46 million shares of mining holding company PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) with a net volume of roughly -54.27 million shares, ranking second on the top-selling list. Furthermore, 46.93 million shares of mining contractor PT Darma Henwa Tbk (DEWA) were also purchased by foreign investors, resulting in a net volume of -30.57 million shares. Shares of the state-owned banking company, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI), sold around 46.31 million shares with a net volume of -22.04 million shares, followed by petrochemical and energy company PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) shares that were sold for 36.67 million shares with a net foreign volume of -18.97 million shares.

Meanwhile, shares of PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (EMTK), a computer equipment business, were the most purchased, totaling roughly 46.16 million shares with a net volume of 40.29 million shares. In addition, foreign investors bought 93.22 million shares of the investment and infrastructure development company PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk (META) for 22.32 million shares. PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS) shares were also purchased for 24.81 million shares, for a net volume of 20.27 million shares. Finally, the net volumes of PT Era Media Sejahtera Tbk (DOOH) and PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) were about 20 million shares each, with foreign investors purchasing 35.09 million shares of DOOH, which operates in the advertising services industry, and 26.03 million shares of BUKA, an e-commerce firm.
