JAKARTA – The stock of PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) increased 25% during its debut in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) yesterday (9/10). The stock soared as top gainers, leaving behind others that frequently enter and leave the list.

Based on IDX data compiled today (10/10), BREN’s stock was closed at its peak at IDR 975 per share, increasing IDR 195 per share from the opening price at morning session of IDR 780 per share. It shifted steadily, making the lowest and highest price during second session were both recorded at IDR 975 per share.

The increase of stock was made use by investors to seek capital gain, as indicated by foreign sell of 1.43 million shares and zero foreign buy. The volume of traded shares clocked up to 22.29 million units, with a frequency of 6,129 transactions worth IDR 21.74 billion.

Down the line, PT Apexindo Pratama Duta Tbk (APEX) reportedly grew 24.53% throughout yesterday’s (9/10) session. It was closed at its highest price, IDR 264 per share, which was IDR 52 higher than the previous closing price of IDR 212 per share. The stock was being traded at its lowest price at IDR 214 per share.

The number of APEX’s shares being traded reached 67.03 million within 9,174 transactions worth IDR 16.47 billion. Foreign investors took advantage of this momentum by collecting the shares, resulting in foreign buy of 3.79 million and foreign shares of 3.06 million shares. (LK/ZH)
