JAKARTA. PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (WSKT), through PT Waskita Toll Road (WTR), has channelled additional capital of IDR 132.93 billion to one of its subsidiaries, PT Trans Jabar Tol (TJT).
According to Mursyid, President Director of WSKT, said extra capital is granted in order to increase issued and paid-up capital of TJT through the issuance of 265,867 new shares. Almost all those new shares are taken over by WTR, leaving one share to Koperasi Waskita.
"The background of transaction between WTR and TJT is to fulfill funding needs of TJT," Mursyid said through the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
Mursyid mentioned that this capital injection is expected to maximize TJT's performance. Therefore, TJT will be able to provide added value to WSKT as WTR's shareholder.
