JAKARTA. PT Berkah Kawasan Manyar Sejahtera (BKMS), a subsidiary of PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) that manages JIIPE Industrial Zone, has signed an agreement with a new investor.

Haryanto Adikoesoemo, President Director of AKRA, said that this investor comes from Hong Kong. The investor's name and the amount of investment put in JIIPE are yet to be disclosed. 

However, so far, Adikoesoemo said that this investor has made an order for a land plot in JIIPE and signed a Letter of Commitment (LoC). “It will be used to develop new energy products," he added.

According to IDNFinancials data, JIIPE has 1,761 hectares (Ha) of industrial area. It is also equipped with 406 Ha of port area and 800 haha of residential area. 

As of now, listed tenants in JIIPE include Adhimix PCI Indonesia, Hailiang, PT Freeport Indonesia, Xinyi Glass, Sari Roti, Rodamas Group, Waskita Karya, and Bank Indonesia. (KR/ZH)
