JAKARTA - On Friday, October 20, shares of the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) ranked first with the most shares sold by foreign investors. A total of 2.25 billion GOTO shares were sold, for a net volume of -384.74 million shares, or almost 67% of the final net foreign of -568.80 million shares. Meanwhile, total foreign share purchases were 3.56 billion shares, and total foreign share sales were in the 4.12 billion share range.

Following GOTO, shares of PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA), which provides television broadcasting services, were also sold for 45.21 million shares with a net volume of -41.29 million shares. Foreign investors then released 35.45 million shares of the integrated shrimp cultivation company PT Central Proteina Prima Tbk (CPRO), resulting in a net volume of -28.35 million shares. With a net volume of -25.26 million shares, shares of PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk (BCAP), a financial services company, were also sold for 26.35 million shares. Foreign investors closed the share sale list by selling 27.84 million shares of the banking company PT Bank BTPN Syariah Tbk (BTPS), resulting in a net volume of -19.63 million shares.

Meanwhile, purchases of shares in the energy and mining sectors dominated the top-buy list this time. In the first place, about 58.56 million shares of PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT), a petrochemical and energy company, were purchased with a net volume of 43.18 million shares. Shares of the parent company, PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), which focuses on the coal mining sector, were also purchased for 49.27 million shares, with a net volume of 35.68 million shares, followed by the purchase of 53.70 million shares of its subsidiary, PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS), which operates in the mineral mining sector with a net volume of 27.73 million shares.

Shares of PT Mandiri Herindo Adiperkasa Tbk (MAHA), a company that also engages in coal mining services, were also purchased at around 20.25 million shares and generated a net volume of 16.68 million shares. Finally, foreign investors purchased 23.82 million shares of the renewable energy company PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA), with a net volume of approximately 15.27 million shares. (KD)
