Bank MNC eyes IDR 1.01 trillion in rights issue
JAKARTA - PT Bank MNC Internasional Tbk (BABP) is eyeing fresh funds of IDR 1.01 trillion through the issuance of 13.50 billion shares of IDR 75 per share from December 18 to 22, 2023. All the proceeds will be used to enhance financing distribution to potential users.
In the information disclosure quoted Tuesday (24/10), PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk (BCAP), the main shareholder of BABP, claims not to exercise its portion nor transferring it to others. Should there be unclaimed rights by eligible shareholders, those will be reallocated to others that order for more than their portions.
As of September 30, 2023, BABP recorded total authorised capital of IDR 6 trillion and issued and paid-up capital of IDR 2.79 trillion, which consisted of series A of IDR 100 each worth IDR 2.28 trillion. BCAP owns 27.58% of them, followed by Winfly Ltd of 13.95%, and the public of 23.80%. Furthermore, there were also series B shares of IDR 50 each worth IDR 3.71 trillion, 24.80% of which belonged to BCAP, and another 9.88% to the public. The stock in portfolio was worth IDR 3.20 trillion, consisting of series A of IDR 81.45 billion and series B of IDR 3.12 trillion.
Assuming that only the primary shareholder that does not exercise its rights, BABP will then record issued and paid-up capital of IDR 3.11 trillion, consisting of series A of IDR 100 each worth IDR 2.28 trillion and series B of IDR 50 each worth IDR 3.71 trillion. (LK/ZH)
