JAKARTA. PT Elnusa Tbk (ELSA), an oil and gas company under Pertamina Group, has formed a business partnership with Daqing Oilfield Company, Ltd.

Said partnership begin with the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding business cooperation in the oil and gas sector. The MoU signing is carried out by President Director of ELSA, John Hisar Simamora, and Vice President of Daqing China, Fang Junling.

"We believe that the advantage possessed by Daqing Oilfield Company Ltd. will lead to mutually beneficial working opportunities in the oil and gas industry, particularly in the exploration and development in the oil sector," Hisar mentioned in the official disclosure. 

In the meantime, Junling agrees that the collaboration with ELSA will reinforce good relationship between China and Indonesia in the oil and gas sector. "With the vision of finding solution together to face future challenges in the oil and gas technology services," he added.

With this MoU signed, ELSA and Daqing will utilise some advanced technology in the oil and gas sector, ranging from Oilfield Lifecycle Management, G&G Research & Engineering, EOR & EOR Chemical Products, etc. (KR/ZH)
