JAKARTA. PT Mitrabara Adiperdana Tbk (MBAP), a coal mining company under Baramulti Group, announces the plan of interim dividend distribution worth IDR 300.68 billion.

Chandra Lautan, Corporate Secretary of MBAP, confirmed that said plan is made based on the decision of the board of directors. "It had been approved by the board of commissioners on October 23, 2023," he said on the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). 

The interim dividend will be channelled to MBAP's shareholders whose names have been officially listed by November 3, 2023. The dividend payment is scheduled to take place due November 8, 2023.

According to IDNFinancials, MBAP scored net profit of USD 22.03 million or approximately IDR 349.36 billion in the first half of 2023. It also possessed retained earnings of USD 163.57 million and total equity worth USD 192.53 million at the end of June 2023.

As of now, approximately 60% of MBAP is under the control of PT Wahana Sentosa Cemerlang. Meanwhile, PT Wahana Batubara Indonesia has another 30%, followed by the public of 9.71%, and the small remaining portion goes to several directors of the company. (KR/ZH)
