BPII to channel IDR 4.6 billion to Arto Investa Pramathana
JAKARTA. PT Batavia Prosperindo Internasional Tbk (BPII) has channelled extra capital worth IDR 4.6 billion to PT Arto Investa Pramathana (ARTO), one of its associates engaged in the short-term accommodation provider business.
Rudi Setiadi Tjahjono, President Director of BPII, said that this capital injection is granted in relation to the increase of ARTO’s paid-up capital. With this extra capital, the company’s portion in ARTO will increase to IDR 11.5 billion. “Or, approximately 23% of ARTO,” he added.
As of June 30, 3034, ARTO’s total equity was recorded at IDR 2.32 billion, while ARTO’s net profit generated by BPII was only IDR 17.83 million.
BPII itself managed to score net profit of IDR 50.07 billion in the first half of 2023. It was supported by its revenue that reached IDR 466.92 billion. (KR/ZH)
