JAKARTA - On Friday, October 20, the coal mining business PT Golden Eagle Energy Tbk (SMMT) received fresh funding from two investors at the same time, with total share purchases reaching roughly 2.6 billion shares. PT Geo Energy Investama purchased 1.84 billion shares of SMMT, resulting in an instant ownership percentage of 58.65%, followed by PT Golden Prima Energy, which purchased 787.50 million shares of the issuer, resulting in a final ownership percentage of 25%. Shares of another coal mining company owned by PT Black Diamond Resources Tbk (COAL) were also purchased by an individual investor, Sujaka Lays, totaling 10 million shares.

PT Putra Borneo Agro Lestari was also seen increasing its stock holdings by purchasing 21.24 million shares of the palm oil business PT Sawit Sumbermas Sarana Tbk (SSMS). PT Sungai Budi then purchased 5.17 million shares of PT Tunas Baru Lampung Tbk (TBLA), a cooking oil producer, for a 25.59% stake.

Meanwhile, PT Monjess Investama was recorded selling 30 million shares of PT Mitra Komunikasi Nusantara Tbk (MKNT), which specialises in telecommunications product distribution. PT Mega Asta Raya also released PT Batulicin Nusantara Maritim Tbk (BESS) shares for approximately 24.66 million shares in the business of sea and river transportation. Sandiana Soemarko, an individual investor, then sold 1.87 million shares of PT Inocycle Technology Group Tbk (INOV), a recycling technology business.

The list of share sales was then completed by two foreign investors who sold shares in the range of 1 million shares. The GOTO Peopleverse Fund sold 1.47 million shares of the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), followed by BBH Luxembourg S/A Fidelity Funds, which sold 1.23 million shares of the ceramic manufacturer company PT Arwana Citramulia Tbk (ARNA).
