Cashlez to pair up with Alto to develop digital literacy of MSMEs
JAKARTA. PT Cashlez Worldwide Indonesia Tbk (CASH) has gained approval regarding the transaction payment process using QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) from Bank Indonesia.
In QRIS transaction process, CASH will join hands with PT Alto Network (Alto). For the record, Alto is a fintech that provides banking total solution and payment system to enhance digital ecosystem.
With this approval from Bank Indonesia, CASH will be more proactive in introducing QRIS to the public, especially for MSME owners in Indonesia. In addition, the company is also committed to increase digital payment literacy to improve MSME's growth.
"Cashlez as QRIS participants is our commitment to provide the best service for our merchants that will increasingly feel the practicality in every consumers' transaction payment," said Irianto Kusumadjaja, President Director of Cashlez, in an official statement.
Quoting data from the Ministry of Cooperative Unit and MSME, as of now, there are only 17.2 million MSMEs connected in digital ecosystem. It is equal to only 26.5% of total MSMEs, which, according to the ministry data, were recorded at 65 million.
"Cashlez is also optimistic in being able to contribute to Indonesian government that aims to develop 30 million MSMEs in digital ecosystem to drive the national economy," Kusumadjaja added. (KR/ZH)
