JAKARTA – The profit of PT Mayora Indah Tbk (MYOR) in the third quarter of 2023 grew 86.42% compared to the same period in 2022. The achievement is made possible by increased revenue and efficiency in costs of sales.

In the Financial Report of Q3 2023 quoted today (27/10), the sales clocked up to IDR 22.89 trillion, only climbing 2.98% year-on-year (yoy) from IDR 22.22 trillion. Thankfully, gross profit soared 28.76% yoy to IDR 6.11 trillion from IDR 4.74 trillion, thanks to efficiency in costs of sales. Its operating profit then skyrocketed 90.71% yoy to IDR 2.79 trillion from IDR 1.46 trillion, resulting in current year’s profit that nearly doubled from IDR 1.10 trillion to IDR 2.06 trillion.

The primary contributors are domestic sales that generated IDR 13.07 trillion, increasing from IDR 12.98 trillion, while international market sales brought in IDR 9.82 trillion, also increasing from IDR 9.26 trillion. In terms of products, processed foods brought in IDR 13.59 trillion, while processed beverages recorded sales of IDR 9.25 trillion. (LK/ZH)
