NPK demand increased, SAMF profits reached IDR 355.98 billion
JAKARTA - PT Saraswanti Anugerah Makmur Tbk (SAMF) recorded a profit of IDR 355.98 billion in the third quarter of 2023, up 55.84% from the same period in 2022 of IDR 228.42 billion. In the last three years, the performance of this fertilizer producing company has consistently grown.
Yahya Taufik, President Director of SAMF, conveyed that the increase in performance was related to the high demand for NPK fertilizer, especially among rubber, palm oil and cocoa plantations. "Achievements in the third quarter of 2023 show positive progress in achieving the full year 2023 target," he said in a press release, Monday (30/10).
According to him, demand for fertilizer from new and existing customers has been improving to date. The volume of fertilizer orders received exceeded the number of orders in the same period last year.
He said that the company's revenue reached IDR 3.82 trillion, up 56.10% from the same period in 2022 of IDR 2.44 trillion. PT Perkebunan Nusantara (Persero) III contributed revenue of IDR 688.70 billion, more than 10% of SAMF's total revenue.
In the third quarter of 2020, this issuer's revenue reached IDR 944.8 billion, rose to IDR 1.24 trillion in the third quarter of 2021, and rose to IDR 2.44 trillion in the third quarter of 2023. Net profit was IDR 73.22 billion in the third quarter 2020, rose to IDR 95.25 billion in the third quarter of 2021, and rose again to IDR 220.49 billion in the third quarter of 2022. (LK/LM)
