JAKARTA - On Tuesday, October 31, foreign selling volume reached 3.91 billion shares, while foreign buying volume was just 3.37 billion shares. As a result, net foreign volume closed at -538.53 million shares. Shares of the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) were the shares sold most, this time around 1.61 billion units, with a net volume of -244.31 million shares.

Shares of the e-commerce company PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) then became the next shares sold by foreign investors, totaling 102.89 million shares with a net volume of nearly -80 million shares. In addition, with a net volume of -74.35 million shares, about 92.10 million shares of PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI), which works in the energy resources infrastructure sector, were sold. Shares of PT MNC Vision Networks Tbk (IPTV), a subscription television broadcasting company, were also released for approximately 57.98 million shares with a net volume of -52.65 million shares, followed by the sale of 88.15 million shares of banking company PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) with a net volume of roughly -50 million shares.

Meanwhile, 66.89 million shares of PT Darma Henwa Tbk (DEWA), a mining contractor services firm, were purchased for a net transaction of 53.12 million shares. Foreign investors also bought 66.22 million shares of PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN), with a net volume of 42.27 million shares in the telecommunications sector. A total of 57.99 million shares of PT Ciputra Development Tbk (CTRA) were then purchased, with a net volume of 36.56 million shares. The purchase of shares in two companies that both operate in the energy sector then resulted in a net volume of around 19 million shares, where foreign investors bought 27.62 million shares of PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk (ADRO) and 26.69 million shares of PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID).
