JAKARTA - PT Indosat Tbk (ISAT) recorded the sharpest decline in profit in Q3 2023 compared to two of its competitors in wireless telecommunication service industry. However, its profit remained the highest among competitors.

Based on the data compiled by IDNFinancials today (2/11), ISAT’s profit was recorded at IDR 2.98 trillion in Q3 2023, shifting 26.1% down from IDR 4.04 trillion seen in the same period in 2022. The revenue climbed 7.8% year-on-year (yoy) to IDR 32.17 trillion from IDR 29.84 trillion.

For comparison, PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR) booked IDR 2.47 trillion of profit in Q3 2023, slowing down 4.29% yoy from IDR 2.58 trillion. The revenue was recorded at IDR 8.71 trillion, shifting 7.54% from IDR 8.10 trillion.

Then, PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk (MTEL)/Mitratel also scored 16.63% yoy growth in profit to IDR 1.43 trillion from IDR 1.22 trillion. Meanwhile, the revenue clocked up to IDR 6.27 trillion, 11.89% yoy higher from IDR 5.60 trillion.

Among these three companies, ISAT has the highest market capitalisation. Yesterday (1/11), ISAT’s market capitalisation was recorded at IDR 76.19 trillion. The stock was closed at IDR 9,450 per share, while the number of shares were recorded at 8.06 billion users.

TOWR has a market capitalisation of IDR 43.36 trillion. It recorded 51.01 billion units of shares, with the closing price of IDR 850 per share.

Meanwhile, MTEL rounds up its market capitalisation to IDR 51.36 trillion. The closing price of this TLKM’s subsidiary was IDR 615 per share, while the number of listed shares reached IDR 83.52 billion. (LK/ZH)
