JAKARTA - PT Samator Indo Gas Tbk (AGII) raked in current year’s profit of IDR 114.90 billion in the third quarter (Q3) of 2023, shifting 5.6% year-on-year (yoy) higher from IDR 75.81 billion. Said achievement was possible due to increased revenue, which mostly came from medical use.

Rachmat Harsono, President Director of AGII, said that revenue increased 8.7% yoy to IDR 2.06 trillion from IDR 1.90 trillion seen in Q3 2022. “Medical sector contributed the most to total sales,” he confirmed in the press release quoted Friday (3/11).

According to Hardono, high contribution of revenue from medical sector is due to increased number of hospital network. In addition, manufacture sector also brought in revenue contribution due to demands of oil and gas users.

It is said that the company will also gain revenue from infrastructure sector, following the establishment of nitrogen gas manufacturing plant for PT Infineon Technology (IT). "Infineon Technology is scheduled for commissioning in 2025,” he added. (LK/ZH)
