JAKARTA - On Wednesday, November 1, the foreign investor Bank J. Safra Sarasin Ltd. acquired shares in the coal mining business PT Garda Tujuh Buana Tbk (GTBO). The investor purchased 834.75 million shares, raising their shareholding to 66.17% from 32.78%. Paradiso Resources Ltd. also purchased approximately 168.53 million shares of PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS), which focuses on palm oil plantations.

Continuing in the palm industry, PT Maybank Sekuritas Indonesia then bought 298.80 million shares of PT Sawit Sumbermas Sarana Tbk's (SSMS) palm oil company, followed by PT Sungai Budi, which purchased 3.75 million shares of cooking oil manufacturer PT Tunas Baru Lampung Tbk (TBLA).

Individual investors then continued the stock trading transactions, with Handoyo Gozali purchasing 1.50 million shares of the lubricant company PT Lupromax Pelumas Indonesia Tbk (LMAX) and Sukarto Bujung selling 20 million shares of the information technology company PT Metrodata Electronics Tbk (MTDL).

Furthermore, PT Dua Putra Bersinergi conducted the highest share sale, selling 135.11 million shares of PT Isra Presisi Indonesia Tbk (ISAP), which engages in industry and machine tools. Two issuers then sold around 30 million shares: PT Monjess Investama sold 30 million shares of PT Mitra Komunikasi Nusantara Tbk (MKNT), a telecommunications product distributor company, and GOTO Peopleverse Fund sold 33.75 million shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), a digital corporation. Finally, BBH Luxembourg S/A Fidelity Funds recorded the sale of 2.59 million shares of PT Arwana Citramulia Tbk (ARNA), a ceramic company. (KD)
