JAKARTA - PT Charoen Pokphan Indonesia Tbk (CPIN) will distribute interim dividend of IDR 1.63 trillion or IDR 100 per share for the fiscal year 2023 on November 29, 2023. This plan had been approved by the board of commissioners yesterday (6/11).

Hadijanto Kartika, Corporate Secretary of CPIN, said that the interim dividend allocation is made based on record of net profit of Q3 2023 of IDR 2.67 trillion, retained earnings of IDR 28.82 trillion, and total equity of IDR 29.01 trillion.

The cum and ex dividend in the regular and negotiation market is set to November 16-17, while the cum and ex dividend in the cash market followed on November 20-21. The shareholders entitled to the interim dividend is based on Official Register of Shareholders listed by the recording date on November 20.

In the same period last year, this company scored net profit of IDR 3.18 trillion, shifting from Q3 2021 of IDR 2.67 trillion. iIts total equity was IDR 26.56 trillion, also increasing from IDR 25.14 trillion.

In yesterday’s (7/11) session at the stock exchange, CPIN’s stock was closed at IDR 5,550 per share, which was its peak. Its lowest went to IDR 5,375 per share, while the volume of traded shares reached 4.18 million within 2,786 transactions, worth a total of IDR 22.94 billion. (LK/ZH)
