JAKARTA. Flying Tiger Copenhagen, variety store chain from Denmark, has cooperated with PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk (MAPI) to open its third and latest store in Indonesia.

This third store is located in Grand Indonesia Shopping Mall. Prior to this, Flying Tiger Copenhagen opened two of its stores in Lippo Mall Puri and Supermall Karawaci last October.

Michele Wibisono, COO of Fashion Division of MAP, said that this opening of new stores indicates the success and profitability of initial collaboration with Flying Tiger Copenhagen. “I believe with the commitment and excellence of MAP in Indonesian retail market, new stores of Flying Tiger Copenhagen will gain pertinent position in global brang expansion,” she added.

Meanwhile, Martin Jermiin, CEO of Flying Tiger Copenhagen, agreed that Indonesia has had a proven market potential. “We believe that Flying Tiger Copenhagen in Indonesia will enhance portfolio of Flying Tiger Copenhagen in Asian market, and we are elated to extend the brand’s presence in Indonesian retail centre,” he added.

According to IDNFinancials data, MAPI recorded net income of IDR 23.79 trillion throughout January-September 2023, resulting in net profit of IDR 1.49 trillion. (KR/ZH)
