JAKARTA - On Wednesday, November 8, PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM) shares were sold for about 86.16 million shares, with a net volume of -53.52 million shares, as it occupied the top of the foreign sell list. The total foreign purchasing volume was in the 2.16 billion share range, while foreign selling volume was in the 2.49 billion share region, resulting in a net foreign of 336.54 million shares in the red.

Furthermore, 42.02 million shares of PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI), an energy resources infrastructure company, were sold, resulting in a net volume of -37.03 million shares. Foreign investors also sold 910.27 million shares of digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) with a net volume of -32.68 million shares, followed by the sale of 40.84 million shares of natural gas transmission and distribution company PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS) with a net volume of around -25 million shares. The last shares to be sold were those of the alcoholic beverage maker PT Lovina Beach Brewery Tbk (STRK), which totaled roughly 28.62 million shares with a net volume of -23.63 million shares.

Meanwhile, on the top buy list, PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN) shares were the most purchased by foreign investors, amounting to 137.03 million shares with a net volume of 90.70 million shares. The shares of PT Darma Henwa Tbk (DEWA), a mining contractor services company, were then bought for 85.02 million shares, with a net volume of 33.32 million shares. With a net volume of 17.71 million shares, about 60.08 million shares of PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) were purchased in the oil and gas exploration and production industry. Foreign investors then bought 29.90 million ERAA shares in the gadget retail sector and 15.36 million BRMS shares in the mineral mining sector, both of which generated net volumes in the tens of millions of shares.
