JAKARTA. PT Sarana Meditama International, one of subsidiaries of PT Sarana Meditama Metropolitan Tbk (SAME), has secured a loan facility worth IDR 200 billion.

Rahmiyati Yahya, Corporate Secretary of SAME, said that this facility is granted by PT Utama Pratama Medika (UTPM). For the record, UTPM is also an indirect subsidiary of SAME.

Yahya mentioned that said loan facility will be used for investment of business financing, as well as SMI’s working capital. “The involved parties have agreed that this loan will be available for 3 years since the agreement date,” Yahya mentioned in the official disclosure.

Yahya also said that this affiliate transaction will fund SMI’s investment activities and working capital. With this loan facility, SMI is expected to carry out its business activities and generate added value for SMI in the future.

According to IDNFinancials data, UTPM is a business entity engaged in the medical device trading industry since 2013. On the other hand, SMI has been involved in the healthcare industry since 2007. (KR/ZH)
