JAKARTA - PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID) increases its stock portion by 10.3% in Asiamet Resources Limited (Asiamet) for USD 4 million.

Quoted from the information disclosure today (16/11), Ronald Sutardja, President Director of Delta Dunia Makmur, confirmed that DOID’s portion now rises to 34.5% from 24.2% in Asiamet. “The stock portion of Delta Dunia Group increases 366.89 million shares,” he added.

According to Sutardja, the extra capital aims to support BKM copper project of Asiamet in Central Kalimantan. This project, as of now, is under a feasibility study. “Copper is still a vital, strategic, and central metal for energy transition initiative,” he explained.

It is mentioned that the cooperation with Asiamet, by utilising the main expertise of PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama (BUMA) in mining services industry, is a part of an expansive commodity diversification strategy of the group. “Delta Group will remain committed to develop ESG strategy, particularly by enhancing core competency of Dunia Delta Group,” Sutardja concluded.
