JAKARTA. PT Ulima Nitra Tbk (UNIQ), an oil and gas and coal services company, has signed a contract worth IDR 439 billion with PT Bosowa Mining.

The contract covers the management of a nickel ore mine, located in North Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi. For the record, nickel ore is the raw material in the manufacture of nickel metal, which includes all nickel oxide ore, concentrate, matte or similar raw materials, nickel mixtures, both unprocessed and/or refined, and any processed deposits, or which may be produced from mine.

Burhan Tjokro, President Director of UNIQ, said that the contract is expected to contribute to the company's revenue in the second quarter of 2024. "The impact on projected revenue will be reflected in 2024 and production is targeted to start in May 2024," said Tjokro, through information disclosure on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI).

According to idnfinancials.com data, UNIQ posted net sales of IDR 410.73 billion as of September 30, 2023. Meanwhile, the company's net profit was recorded at IDR 30.99 billion. (KR/LM)
